In 2022, Tajikistan attracted about $430 million in direct investment from abroad into the economy, Saadi Kodirzoda, head of the country’s State Committee for Investment and State Property Management, told reporters on February 14.

“In 2022, almost $430 million in direct investment was attracted from China, Turkey, Russia and other countries ,” Kodirzoda said.

The official noted that approximately 85% of foreign direct investment related to mining, 13% was directed to production and processing, 1.7% – to construction and other areas.
