More than 20 representatives of Penza enterprises took part in the event. Vladimir Parshin, First Deputy Chairman of the Penza CCI, welcoming the participants of the meeting, said that Tajikistan is a priority partner for the Penza region, more than 40 companies are already working with the Republic.
The volume of products sent by the enterprises of the Penza region to the Republic of Tajikistan, according to the Penza Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is 205,338 thousand rubles, and for the first month of 2023, products worth 43,871 thousand rubles have already been shipped.
Bilateral Tajik-Russian relations are based on longstanding traditions of strong friendship, mutual respect and support. Evgeny Korenkov noted that currently 67 subjects of the Russian Federation are working with Tajikistan. “From the point of view of trade turnover, mutual exports and imports, there are all the necessary tools to develop trade and economic relations. In addition, Tajikistan is beneficial for the creation and development of joint ventures,” he said.
The main groups of priority goods in which Tajikistan is interested are food products, chemical products, ferrous metals and sawn timber.
In addition to Tajikistan, Russian enterprises will be able to establish cooperation with countries that are on the border with the Republic: China, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan.
After the speech, Evgeny Korenkov answered questions from representatives of Penza enterprises on entering the market and further cooperation with enterprises of the Republic of Tajikistan. The questions concerned the demand for Penza products on the Tajik market: stationery, sports equipment, valves, municipal equipment, medical supplies, etc.
After the meeting, the trade representative thanked the Penza Chamber of Commerce and Industry for organizing the event and noted that this year the Penza region has become the most active region that has shown interest in holding joint events and cooperation with the Republic of Tajikistan.
